January 4, 2010
Dear Parent/Guardian:
Welcome to the
new year. To get things off to a healthy start we are going to have a
vaccine immunization clinic for the second dose of vaccines for both
the H1N1 and seasonal flu viruses. If your child has missed the
previous clinics and you still want him/ her to be immunized for the
first time for either vaccine, this is your last opportunity.
The date for the clinic is this Friday, January 8, 2010 at
Deer Isle-Stonington Elementary School beginning at 7:30 am (snow date
is Friday January15). It is mandatory to be here with your child.
These boosters are for students only. If you have preschool children
that require a second immunization, please call your provider to make
arrangements. The H1N1 is only for students under the age of 10 and
have received the first shot. The seasonal vaccine is only for students
under the age of 9 and have received the first shot.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
Dodie Sullivan

I will be doing seasonal and H1N1 vaccines at the same time, different arms. Any questions, please call or email me at
