Dr. Charles Zelnick from Island Family Medicine will be presenting information on the importance of getting an influenza vaccine on Wednesday, October 23, 2013.  He will be at the elementary school from 11:15 to 11:45 where he will talk with students in grades 6-8 and staff. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The influenza clinic at the elementary school has been scheduled for Wednesday, 10/30, beginning at 7:30 AM in the library.  Dana Morey and Julie Reed from IFM will be adding their expertise to what we hope will become an annual offering.  Parents who wish to be present when their child(ren) are immunized are encouraged to attend. Volunteers are also needed for the elementary school clinic.  Please call the nurse at 348-6301 to volunteer or with questions.

If you were unable to sign up for one of the school clinics, but would still like to have a flu shot, Island Family Medicine is taking reservations for their clinic, which will be held November 7 from 1-5 PM.
