The Deer Isle - Stonington Schools provide bus transportation services
for students before and after school. Below you will find descriptions
of the routes First Student buses travel and maps for each of the
routes. Below each map is a link providing a view of a larger map
that includes details about the route. The district's First Student
representative is Darlene Turner. She can be contacted on school
days by calling 348-5237. If Darlene is not in the office, calls
are forwarded to her cell phone.

A note regarding the Google
Maps included on this page... These maps are easy to make if
you have a Google account. Teachers might find other useful ways
that students could utilize this map plotting tool for a wide-range
of learning opportunities:
- Mapping
historical points in our local communities, state, nation, or
around the world.
- Using
the satelite view students could identify and plot points that
identify geographical characteristics.
- Using
the tools included students could calculate distances and the
area of land.
