The specialists at DISES are collaborating in planning programs and projects and collecting resources to facilitate a school-wide focus on Sub-Saharan Africa during this school year, especially during January and February 2008. All students will be introduced to various aspects of African culture through their "specials" (art, library, music, etc.) as well as residencies and performances at the Reach Auditorium. A wide variety of educational resources can be found in the Library and here in our Africa Edventure website. We hope these resources will help teachers integrate Africa into the classroom and allow parents/families to learn about Africa together.
